For all print layout applications, we are using a 6 column grid that adjusts to all formats, from image brochure to print advertisement.

Text Placement

All applications use wider text blocks to emphasize the horizontal design approach. A combination of white space and narrow gutters are used to reproduce the look from the Vossloh Rolling Stock logo.
Body copy is always set to left alignment—with no exceptions.

Indent

For print collaterals, we use a first line left indent, starting from the second paragraph.

Images

All images placed in the layout, with a margin to the border of the format, have rounded corners. However, if the image goes all the way to the border, this is the only place where the image needs sharp corners.

The main goal is to make interesting and engaging layouts that represent Vossloh Rolling Stock’s brand values in the clearest way.
